Hari Om,
     Welcome back to all our returning students. We are thrilled to have you all in balavihar class. This year we will be completing Krishna Lila's and learning from 24 Teachers. The class has been split into two sections. Section 1 will be in A118 with Nirmala and Lakshmi Aunty. Section 2 is going to be in room A108 with Sangeetha and Suma Aunty.
Please stop by anytime to ask questions or give us your feedback. We appreciate your involvement.

Section 1 update:
    The children have a welcome note with the details about this year's curriculum and supply list. Today we reviewed the last years syllabus, recollected Lord Vishnu's ten avatars. We also  learnt the first two verses of Sankashtnashna Ganesh sthothra. Click here for text

The Four Yugas
                  Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga. Kali Yuga
Kali Yuga
                   Kali lives where the Lord is forgotten. In Kali Yuga people fight because they are so attached to acquiring wealth and possessions. Durukti – Kali’s sister means harsh words that hurt and insult people. If we avoid anger and harsh words, we can escape from the influence of Kali Yuga.
The children homework is to 'Stop the Kali'
                  * Think before you speak
                  * Avoid harsh words
                  * Choose kind words
                  *  Apologize when you use angry language
The next balavihar is on September 23rd at Crossroads middle school.
